1.Development of Financially Sustainable farm with Farmers Training Center

Agrisys has accepted a project recently with one of the leading organizations for developing approximately 9.5 acres of Land coupled with conceptualization, development and operations of a proposed Farmers’ Training Institute on Sustainable Agriculture equipped with all infrastructural needs.

Land is situated in Palda and Asrawada villages of District-Indore.
Agrisys will develop the farm of appx. 9.5 acres. Agrisys will first convert appx 1.5 Acres of land into organically sustainable farm, rest 8 acres will be developed under high input agriculture system.

The project will delve into details of comparative studies on organic versus chemical methods of cultivation.

Broad Parameters under observation will be –

  1. Soil Enrichment levels under organic and chemical farming systems.
  2. Microbial Activity observations in soil under organic and chemical farming systems.
  3. Evaluation of Genotypes of various crops for their response to organic cultivation practices.
  4. Cost: Benefit comparisons between organic and chemical farming systems.
  5. Labourer Requirement Analysis.
  6. Scope for Mechanization in both kinds of farming system with perspective of lowering the labourers requirement.

Based on the findings of above, modules for farmers will be prepared and farmers (preferably young farmers and rural youth) will be invited to be coached and trained on organic crop production.

Project intends to invite Farm women batches also (particularly Self-Help-Groups) so that skill-enhancement can be widened up and farm women can be enlightened with various agricultural practices and their benefits.Project will take-off from 15th January onwards and will come into full swing from April 15th 2010 after the present crop is harvested.

2.Market Linkage for Spices

Agrisys has been trying to establish the identity of agri produce of MP in spices segment And now we’ve been successful in getting orders for the same. Agrisys has been given nod by one of the biggest organization for procuring spices from MP. 

Agrisys will be arranging IPM (Integrated Pest Management) chilli and fennel seed, organic produce and chemically grown spices to the merchandising partner.

Such farmers will be registered by Agrisys for providing trainings from May' 2011 onwards . Training will be on Agri-business planning, farm-planning, improved cultivation practices, IPM cropping, Self Sustainable ways of farming and producing chemical free wheat, chilies , fennel seed, potato, pulses, garlic, onion, papaya, Custard apple and Banana.

3.Agrisys chosen by Nahta Farms for consulatncy-

Agrisys will develop the farm for better returns.It will be a mega project involving commercial cropsa long with short duration pigeon pea,high-yielding maize and kharif onion.

4.Choudhary Farms,Sonkuchha,Dewas

Agrysis has taken up a new project under there advisory for providing advisory services to 40 acre farm at Sonkuchha Dist. Dewas.Agrisys will work on enhancing profits by crop and varietal diversification, selection of seeds,protected cultivation,advising marketing of produce and preparing bankable projects based on govt. schemes. 

5.Seed Production unit

Agrisys have been chosen as consultant for a new seed producing body at Sonkuchha Dist. Dewas.

6. Agrisys signed by Malwa Productivity Council for consultancy on agri-based projects in MP.

7. Agrisys retained by KIPL as Agriculture Consultant for their Green House business across the state.

8. Agrisys signed by Siginificant enterprises for consultancy for concept of "Use of Plastics' in enhancing farm revenues.
